Each barn stall is 12 x 12 with an attached 12 x 8 paddock and large, shared turnout for horses to exercise and kick up their heels. As of 2007 the cost of boarding for HVL members is only $150 per month. Also available is a tack room, feed storage area, wash rack, 50-foot round pen, two arenas, and riding trails.

The HVLA Stables become more a part of who and what HVL is each day. Activities there are year-round and include: a Youth Equine Summer Camp, private and group riding lessons, wilderness riding lessons, and horse training. Some of the annual events include a Christmas Party, Pumpkin Patch at Halloween, gymkhanas, schooling shows, vaccination clinics, etc. (Information was taken from hvla.com.)
